Our ideal day in Tignes

Beginners
Tignes is a great area for new skiers to improve their technique and build confidence. If you haven’t skied much before, we guarantee Tignes will give you the skiing bug and you’ll want to go again, and again.. and again!
Intermediates
Skiing in Tignes is fantastic for intermediate skiers. Head up high to the Grand Motte glacier for long, sweeping blues or steep, sharp, exciting reds back down to the villages beneath. You’ll be enjoying fabulous views of the lake below and the surrounding snow-capped mountains along the way too.
Advanced
One of the highlights for advanced skiers in Tignes are the ‘naturide’ black runs. These are patrolled but not groomed runs where you can test your skill on big moguls. There are plenty of steep pisted blacks and some exhilarating reds to push your skills too. Tignes also boasts a 10km black that descends from the L’Aiguille Percée all the way to Tignes Les Brévières.
Family Skiing
Tignes is one of our favourite family-friendly resorts. There are lots of easily accessed beginner slopes and nursery areas perfect for helping little ones get up to speed. They’ll be whizzing past you on the slopes in no time!
Ski Schools
Our Tignes instructors will put you at ease and help you improve your skills in no time. We work with English speaking ski schools so nothing will get lost in translation. Tignes is a family and beginner friendly resort so perfect for first time skiers to learn, but if you’re looking for a challenge and some technique tips, you’ve also come to the right place!
Ski Hire
Ski hire in Tignes is a piece of cake! We’ll do the work for you and organise for your ski kit to be ready for whenever suits you to pick up. All you need to do is head over to one of the handily located ski rental pick up spots.
