Beginners

For beginners, the west side up to Vallee Blanche at 2100m offers some quiet blue pistes back down to Les 2 Alpes. Unlike in many resorts, there are tonnes of blues higher up so first time skiers can enjoy great views, better snow and incredible skiing even at a beginner level. Take the pedestrian funicular to the top to enjoy beginner skiing without a huge ski back to the resort.

Intermediates

There’s tonnes of skiing for intermediate skiers in Les Deux Alpes. Take the Jandri Express which heads up from the centre of the resort to the glacier at 3400m. There is a blue run all the way back down which intermediate skiers will thrive on.

Advanced

For those who like a challenge, the Vallee Blanche is a gnarly black run that’s not to be missed. From Diable, jump on the chairlift up to Tete Moute. A blue access piste opens up Toura – the Freestyle land at Les Deux Alpe. The Toura Chairlift opens up off-piste runs, border cross, freestyle/slopeside park areas. Alternatively, drop off the access run down a steep black to the bottom of the Bellecombe chair.

Family Skiing

Les Deux Alpes is really good value for families compared to lots of other French resorts. There are lots of child-friendly accommodation options from self-catered to full-board hotels. Designed to be easily accessed, the resort is ideal for taking little ones as accommodation is close to the slopes to pop back for a rest or snack. There are also lots of extra activities such as a wellness centre with kids’ area, bowling and a cinema.


Ski Schools

Our French ski schools all work with highly qualified, English speaking instructors who will show you the Les Deux Alpes ski area while building your confidence. Ski schools for little ones are particularly great here, if they’ve never tried skiing before, they’re guaranteed to love it by the end of the week!


Ski Hire

The easily accessible resort is great for picking up ski rental. Depending on where you’re staying, we can arrange for your kit to be picked up at your hotel or in one of our ski rental shops. We’ll organise all your gear when you book your trip unless you’d rather take your own. All our trips are tailor made so we’ll work to suit you.
