WHY WE LOVE CHAMONIX

  • Lively atmosphere with plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants to choose from
  • Picture perfect skiing under Mont Blanc
  • Just one hour from Geneva Airport

Beginners

Chamonix has six ski areas from Les Houches at the entrance to the Chamonix Valley over to La Tour at the far end of the valley. Chamonix is famous for steep off-piste descents but don't let this put you off, there is skiing for everyone from beginner through to expert. Les Houches offers glorious treeline skiing with blues snaking down either side of the ridge – perfect on snowy days!

Intermediates

For intermediate skiers, Chamonix is a great place to push yourself in order to bring your skiing on. There are plenty of cruisey blue runs to warm up on, then head up the mountain and start hitting the red runs before taking on some black runs to really push your boundaries!

Advanced

For experts, Chamonix is a fantastic playground. The Aiguille du Midi cable car opens up one of the world''s greatest off-piste routes – The Vallee Blanche – a 22km ski down the Tacul glacier then over the Mer de Glace dropping 2000 vertical metres to Montenvers.

Group Skiing

Chamonix is world-renowned as a ski resort, particularly for its lively après scene and nightlife. Whether you’re looking for nightclubs or live music and DJs in a bar, you’ll find somewhere you love amongst the abundance of bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Because of the fantastic skiing and

lively vibe, it’s a great resort to enjoy with friends or on a corporate trip.

Ski Schools

With two low altitude nursery areas, six green pistes and 30 blue pistes, you’ll soon be cruising down the mountain under the careful instruction of one of our partner ski school instructors.
