MONTE BONDONE AT A GLANCE
Monte Bondone was the first ski area in Italy opening in the 1930s. Located above the beautiful Roman town of Trento in the Italian Dolomites, Monte Bondone is perhaps the most perfect resort for beginners that we have found. There are two main resorts Vaneze at 1300m and Vason a little higher up at 1650m. Most of our accommodation is up at Vason and offers ski in ski out convenience.

Beginner and Intermediate Skiing
Monte Bondone is perfect for learning to ski. There is a large nursery area with 3 moving carpets. Once beginners have mastered controlling their skis using the snowplough and snowplough turn they can quickly move on to the long Cordela blue run - wide and open is descends down to the 6 man Montesel chairlift. From the top of the chairlift a long wide blue runs brings you back to the nursery area or take the Panoramica blue run along the ridge and back down to the Montesel Chairlift.
Intermediates will enjoy the challenge of the red runs - the Gran Pista is glorious descending from the summit at 2090m down to Mezavia at 1184m. If you bring your children to learn to ski you can always get back to the ski school meeting point quickly and easily
